High quality. It’s what makes Hannah May Fitness Training different…and how we deliver satisfying results to so many of our clients.
We only work with the best Fitness, Health and Wellness Specialists. Meet the professionals who’ll help you reach your goals. Let us help you. Dare to be great!
Hannah is one the most passionate, positive and bright people you will meet. Her approach is comprehensive and very integrated. Her mission is to reach and help as many people as possible reach their health and wellness goals.
She truly believes the physical body is only one element in the picture of overall health. This is the foundation for HMFT’s mind/body/spirit approach to fitness, healing and better health.
Personal Training and Massage Therapy allow her to also transform the external body. But there’s much more to achieving better overall health.
Good nutrition is a key building block to healing, health and fitness. And nutrition is one of Hannah’s passions. She has much experiential knowledge, having grown up on an organic farm.
An example of a terrific tool for healing and health is Colonics. Bringing the body’s internal and digestive systems to literally a clean slate is accomplished with Colon Hydrotherapy, eliminating impurities and creating a better foundation on which to build your better health. Ask Hannah about it.
Hannah is proud to come from a large family on an organic farm. Besides her fitness and healing work, one of her passions is traveling. Everest basecamp, trekking expeditions and retreats are how she vacations!
From training at the gym, to rock climbing, yoga and meditation—Hannah is passionate! HMFT was built on Hannah’s sense of adventure, love for people, social nature and desire to create a fitness environment that would touch people’s hearts as well as bodies. Hannah May Fitness Training is a high energy, fun, supportive and social environment that challenges people to be the best version of themselves! Hence, our motto—“Dare to be Great”!

After changing her own lifestyle and starting a family, Alycia decided to take her passion and experience in weight training, strength & conditioning, weight loss and general fitness—and make it into a career. Her fitness journey has led her to many amazing opportunities such as assisting in the opening of a Crossfit gym, working with hundreds of amazing clients and joining the HMFT family!

Nick Babin has always been guided by “the principle of balance”—not just in the world of physical fitness, but in all aspects of intellectual and emotional self-care. So, Nick combines aspects of his qualifications as a Certified Personal Trainer and Registered Yoga Teacher, then individually customizes the approaches he recommends for each of his client. It’s a very special experience.
All of the following and more are vital building blocks in Nick’s approach to total wellness:
—Building strength and endurance
—Improving body composition
—Optimizing frame of mind
Recognizing that most people place an emphasis on only one component of fitness, Nick makes it a point to maximize traditional strength and cardio-based exercises, then enhancing them with flexibility and mobility techniques from disciplines such as yoga or even martial arts. Nick tops it off by gently helping you understand how nutrition affects your body.
And once a client has their physical needs addressed, it becomes much easier to quiet the mind and relieve tension and stress through breathing techniques, the practice of yoga and even guided meditation studies.
Nick relishes helping his clients achieve their goals—and push beyond them—regardless of your experience level, strengths, deficits or overall goals. Dare to be great. Call (413) 335-8110 for more information!

Educating, confidence-building and training longevity/consistency are the essential components of Erick’s approach to training. He wants you, the client, to be able to step into your training environment, cultivating the best experience possible. Whether that means running a 5k, lifting a personal best with a movement that used to be very complex or difficult for you or improving the quality of your day-to-day functions and movements. Ultimately, Erick wants you to be able to feel the power you are very capable of producing and project it into your environment (for instance, lifting a weight or even improving the quality and pleasure of a physical job or task).
A hard-working ethic has been instilled in Erick since his early 20s—finding marginal success in local 5ks, training to participate in amateur mixed martial arts fight and remaining active with the youths he works with in a residential setting.
Erick’s interests in positive existentialism sets the tone for his approach for extrapolating the most success from his clients. It helps that he firmly believes in every person’s capacity and capability to attain the best they can out of his/her life.

Lisa has been a part of our Hannah May Fitness Training family for a couple of years now and teaches yoga on Saturday mornings.
She began her yogic journey over 15 years ago by taking a basic introductory course where she soon learned the deep benefits that come with stretching, breathing, and meditating. Lisa deepened her practice by becoming a Certified Yoga Instructor through the well-respected Frog Pond Yoga in Princeton, MA.
Lisa is passionate about teaching yoga to people of all ages and fitness levels. What we feel makes her so popular is that she truly believes that yoga is accessible for everyone—and approaches the practice with a gentle authority.
When not on her mat practicing, Lisa can be found teaching K-6 Visual Arts in Quabbin Elementary schools, hiking or skiing in the woods, biking the back roads—or gleefully torturing herself on a spin cycle!
Begin your yogic journey gently and joyfully with Lisa. Call us at (413) 335-8110 to learn more and begin your journey.
Elizabeth has been a recreational athlete for a number of years, however she did not actively pursue a career in the fitness field until a group fitness class inspired her to become a Certified Group Power Instructor. This ignited Elizabeth’s passion in promoting health and wellness to others.
Her fitness approach is holistic. Wellness encompasses the understanding that everyone’s ability to achieve their goals is best understood by honoring an individual’s personal lifetime beliefs and values as they relate to health and fitness. Elizabeth listens to her clients, then successfully strives to recognize those values when developing personalized fitness plans that will benefit each individual athlete—no matter what age or level.
Growing up in Northern Maine gave Elizabeth a strong work ethic. She believes that all goals can be achieved through conscious planning and consistent work. Although her sport of choice is running, Elizabeth enjoys the various outdoor activities that all four New England seasons offer—including hiking, camping, biking and skiing—all with the company of her three children, husband, and dog, Brewster.
