At HMFT we pride ourselves on quality. That’s why we only work with the best! Meet the professionals who will help you reach your goals. Dare to be great. Let us help.
Hannah is one the most passionate people you will meet, about her work. Her approach is comprehensive, yet very integrated. Her mission is to reach as many people as possible, and be able to help each of them meet their health and wellness goals. She truly believes the physical body does not stand alone when it comes to our health, which is the foundation for her mind/body/spirit approach at HMFT. As a colon hydrotherapist, her passion is in rebuilding the internal systems and digestive system to create a foundation for health. Nutrition is her passion, as well as putting smiles on every face. Personal training and massage therapy allow her to also transform the external body.
On a personal level, Hannah is proud to come from a large family and to have grown up on a small organic farm. Besides work, her other passion is traveling. As an avid athlete, Everest basecamp, trekking expeditions, and retreats are how she vacations. From training at the gym, to rock climbing, yoga, and meditation, Hannah cannot get enough of any of it! HMFT was built off of Hannah’s sense of adventure, love for people, social nature, and desire to create a fitness environment that would touch people’s hearts as well as bodies. It’s a high energy, fun, supportive, and social environment that challenges people to be the best version of themselves! Hence, the motto “Dare to be Great”.

Educating, confidence building, and longevity in your training methodologies are the essential components that comprise my approach to training. I want you, the client, to be able to step into your training environment and cultivate the best experience possible. Whether that means running a 5k, lifting a personal best with a movement that used to be very complex to you, or improving the quality of your day to day functions/movements. Ultimately, I want you to be able to feel the power you are very capable of producing and externally projecting onto your environment (ie lifting a weight or even perhaps improving the quality of a physical job).
A hard working mentality has been instilled into Erick since his early 20s; finding marginal success in local 5ks, training to participate in amateur mixed martial arts fight, and remaining active with the youths he works with in a residential setting! Erick’s interests in positive existentialism sets the tone for his approach for extrapolating the most success out of his clients; firmly believing in a persons capacity to attain the best they can out of his/her life.
“The mind has exactly the same power as the hands; not merely to grasp the world, but to change it.” – Colin Wilson
Lisa has been a part of the HMFT family for the past year and a half, teaching yoga on Saturday mornings. She began her yogic journey some fifteen years ago by taking a basic introductory course where she soon learned the deep benefits that come with stretching, breathing, and meditating. Lisa deepened her practice by becoming a Certified Yoga Instructor through Frog Pond Yoga,in Princeton, MA. Lisa is passionate about teaching yoga to all ages and fitness levels and truly believes that yoga is accessible for everyone. When not on her mat, Lisa can be found teaching K-6 Visual Arts in Quabbin Elementary schools, hiking or skiing in the woods, biking the backroads, or gleefully torturing herself on a spin cycle.
Although Elizabeth has been a recreational athlete for a number of years, she did not actively peruse a career in the fitness field until a group fitness class inspired her to become a certified Group Power Instructor. From this launching point Elizabeth has found a passion in promoting health and wellness in those that seek her instruction. Her approach to wellness encompasses the understanding that everyone’s ability to achieve their goals is best understood through a holistic approach and an understanding of an individual’s personal lifetime beliefs and values as they relate to health and fitness. Elizabeth strives to recognize those values when developing fitness plans that will work for each individual athlete.
Growing up in Northern Maine has provided Elizabeth with a strong work ethic. She believes that all goals can be achieved through conscious planning and consistent work towards those goals. Although her sport of choice is running, Elizabeth enjoys the various outdoor activities that all four New England season’s offer, including hiking, camping, biking and skiing, all with the company of her three children, husband, and dog, Brewster.
